Film Industry Office Accreditation

Odesa International Film Festival invites representatives of the Ukrainian and international film industry to be accredited to participate in the professional section of Film Industry Office of the 14th OIFF

 

This year, the Film Industry Office of the Odesa International Film Festival will be held from 22 to 26 August in the city of Chernivtsi.

 

As part of the industrial programme of the OIFF, a series of round tables, meetings and discussions will be held with the participation of leading Ukrainian and international film professionals.

 

In particular, the programme will include the following activities:

  • meeting with representatives of the Film Independent together with the PITCH.UA Educational Platform

  • discussion of the state of the Ukrainian film industry and the strategy of its development during the war and after the victory

  • discussion of the features of co-production with the countries of Europe and North America

  • How the preferences of Ukrainians have changed during a full-scale war: an analysis of the ratings of the largest media service in Ukraine together with MEGOGO marketing director Valeria Tolochina

  • review of audiovisual market trends, the impact of artificial intelligence on global film production with the participation of Victoria Tigipko

  • discussion of grant and educational opportunities for the audiovisual sector from the Creative Europe and the European Union programme, the Ukrainian Film Academy and House of Europe initiatives in partnership Netflix (who will attend by pre-recorded video) and other funds and organizations

  • round tables on the ethics of filming documentary films, its place in the development of public institutions, the internationalization of documentary films within the documentary section of the Film Industry Office with the support of the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation

  • meeting with producers from the Scandinavian countries on co-production opportunities.

 

INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY:

  • Get access to a series of daily meetings, round tables and discussions with the participation of international and Ukrainian industry. A detailed programme will be published in August

  • Get access to films of the festival and festival events in Chernivtsi if there are available places

  • Get a ticket to the closing ceremony of the Odesa International Film Festival (limited number, accreditation will be opened later)

  • Get a 10% discount on booking rooms at the official Film Festival hotel ‘Bukovyna’ (if there are available places)

  • Get a 10% discount at recommended restaurants in Chernivtsi upon presentation of the festival badge.

 

Film Industry Office accreditation costs 1450 UAH. There is a 10% discount with a MasterCard.

Applications are accepted from July 18 to August 20.

The cost of Film Industry Office accreditation is UAH 1,450. A 10% discount applies if you pay by MasterCard.
